The M42 Orion Nebula is a prominent diffuse nebula located in the Milky Way. It is situated in the constellation Orion and is one of the brightest nebulae visible in the night sky. M42 is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth and serves as a significant site for studying the processes of star and planetary system formation. It contains a young open cluster known as the Trapezium, which consists of several massive stars that illuminate the surrounding gas and dust. This image is the first deep imaging taken with the DWARF3. some 2800 15second and 30 second subs.
